Uganda Cranes coach Multin Micho Sredojevic has dismissed reports circulating in Uganda that he is heading to South Africa to link up with Bafana Bafana.
In a strong statement in response to rumours, Micho sent a tweet indicating that he was comfortable with the Uganda Cranes job.
“I strongly deny romours and speculations linking me with South Africa.I am loyal to my coaching job here in Uganda “, reads the tweet.
This comes days after South Africa Football Association sent a statement on Sunday announcing suspension of Bafana Bafana head coach Shakes Mashaba.
His assistant Owen Da Gama was announced to be incharge of the team for today’s international friendly match aganist Mozambique.
Some media houses this morning linked unnamed Safa national executive committe member with talks to get impressive Micho to South Africa.
Mashaba future has been up in the air for quite some time but his team’s win over Senegal eased pressure on the 66-year-old mentor, although he is not entirely off the hook with latest suspension due to displine related issues providing more clue to his departure.
