Uganda Cranes head coach Micho named his final travelling squad to Fort portal district on Friday afternoon ahead of the regional match against Kitara region on Sunday evening at Buhinga Stadium.
This was after the final training session at namboole stadium were the boys worked out for close to two hours.
The squad is mostly dominated by locally based players with Lebanese based Hassan Wasswa and two surprises in British born forward Layne Isaac and Danish based Robert Kakeeto as professionals.
This is the start of the preparations for the upcoming CHAN qualifiers as well as AFCON Cameroon 2019 qualifiers according to Micho and believes the match will help him a lot in assessing the fitness levels of the players.
The team will depart on Saturday morning from Sky Hotel, Naalya to Fort Portal and will hold a light training session in the evening ahead of the highly anticipated match on Sunday at Buhinga stadium.
The Cranes lost their previous regional match 1-0 away to the West Nile region in Paidha.
