Uganda coach Micho Sredojevic has named 19 man foreign based legion ahead of upcoming friendly match aganist Zambia and 2018 World Cup qualifier against Congo Brazzaville.
Cranes host Zambia in a friendly match on Tuesday 8 November before playing Congo Brazzaville in a 2018 World Cup qualifier on Saturday 12 November at Nelson Mandela Stadium.
Kenya based midfielder Shafiq Batambuze was handed his first Cranes call-up in the squad.
Midfielder Mukidi Ronald, who plays in Sweden is also another suprise call up in the national team.
Captain Geoffrey Massa will lead the team that is dominated by players who have played recently for the Cranes.
Coach Micho indicated that ten to twelve of the players will be retained to represent the country in the doubtful upcoming CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup in Kenya.
