Napsa Stars assistant coach Harry Milanzi  described Wednesday’s one nil win over Lumwana Radiants as a very tough match. The former Zambia international Striker said the game did not go as planed but what mattered most was the three points at the end of 90 minutes.

“The game was very tough. We did not play our game but we managed to score one goal in the first half. In the second half the match was a fifty fifty affair but what is important is the three points,” he said.

The pensioners beat Lumwana Radiants by a lone goal courtesy of midfielder Youremember Banda who scored in the 19th minute from within the 18 yard area after benefiting from a Collins Sikombe corner.

Napsa Stars have now moved to second on the log with 22 points from 13 games and just a point adrift of log leaders Lusaka Dynamos. Next on the menu for Napsa Stars is Mufulira Wianderers away in Mufulira.
