Ugandan striker Farouk Miya has won the CNN Goal of the week award for his wonder strike aganist Mali in the last Africa Cup of Nations Group D match played in Oyem Stadium,Gabon.

The organisers took into consideration, all the goals scored across the globe during the just concluded week.The 70th minute well hit effort was the Cranes only goal of the tournament.

Miya, who turns for Belgium’s Standard Liege at club level, also scooped the Man of the match award for his exploits.
