Charles Boniface Mkwasa ameachana na klabu ya Yanga nchini Tanzania kama kocha msaidizi baada ya kutia saini mkataba wa miaka miwili na Shirikisho la soka nchini humo TFF kuendelea kuiongoza timu ya taifa.
Mkwasa ambaye aliteuliwa kuwa kocha wa Taifa Stars miezi minne iliyopita, amesema amechukua uamuzi huo kwa sababu mkataba wake na Yanga unamalizika mwezi Desemba na hajaona dalili za viongozi wa klabu hiyo kumkabidhi mkataba mpya.
“Nimeamua kuachana na Yanga na ili niitumikie timu ya Taifa, nimewaandikia barua ya kuachana nao na pia kuwaachia mshahara wangu wa miezi miwili,” alisema Mkwasa.
Katibu Mkuu wa klabu ya Yanga Jonas Tiboroha amesema hawajafikia uamuzi wowote kuhusu kuondoka kwa Mkwasa, na pia hawajafikia uamuzi wowote kuhusu atakayechukua nafasi yake.
Mkwasa ameongeza kuwa amefarijika sana kupewa mkataba wa kudumu na TFF na kuahidi kuwa atafanya kile kilicho ndani ya uwezo wake kuiletea mafanikio timu ya taifa.
TFF imempa mkataba utakaomalizika mwisho wa mwezi Machi mwaka 2017 na kazi kubwa aliyonayo ni kuiongoza Tanzania katika michuano ya kufuzu kuelekea fainali ya Mataifa bingwa barani Afrika mwaka 2017 nchini Gabon na kombe la dunia nchini Urusi mwaka 2018.
