Shirikisho la soka nchini Tanzania TFF limemkabidhi mkataba wa muda mrefu kocha wa timu ya Taifa Charles Boniface Mkwasa.
Rais wa TFF Jamal Malinzi katika ukurasa wake wa Twitter ametangaza kuwa mkataba huo utamalizika mwisho wa mwezi Machi mwaka 2017.
Malinzi aliandika hivi, “Kocha wa Timu ya Taifa Boniface Mkwassa leo atakabidhiwa mkataba mnono utakaomalizika 31/March/2017.Ni kama wa mtangulizi wake Maart Noiij”,.
Mkwasa alichukua nafasi ya kocha wa zamani Maart Nooij kutoka Uholanzi aliyefutwa kazi mwezi Juni mwaka 2015 kwa matokeo mabaya.
Mkwasa aliwapa matumaini Watanzania baada ya mchuano wake wa kwanza kufuzu katika michuano ya CHAN kutoka sare ya bao 1 kwa 1 na Uganda jijini Kampala.
Mwezi wa Septemba katika mchuano wake wa pili akiwa kocha ,Tanzania ikiwa nyumbani ililazimisha sare ya kutofungana na Nigeria jijini Dar es salaam katika mchuano wa kufuzu katika fainali ya mataifa bingwa barani Afrika mwaka 2017 nchini Gabon.
Taifa Stars kwa sasa inajiadaa kumenyana na Malawi katika mchuano wa mzunguko wa kwanza kufuzu katika michuano ya kombe la dunia mwaka 2018 nchini Urusi.
Mchuano huo utapigwa siku ya Jumatano katika uwaja wa Taifa jijini Dar es salaam.
