Zimbabwe head coach Shadreck Mlauzi is banking on his side exprience in 2016 Olympic games and the confidence oozing from his players when they face off with Egypt on Tuesday 22 November in a 2016 AWCON Group A match at Ominisport Stadium in Limbe, Cameroon.
Speaking to the cafonline ,Mlauzi said although they were facing a more experienced team, they would be going out with a positive attitude and mean intent.
“Unlike some comments, the result of our first game (0-0 with South Africa) is not bad. We are aiming for a victory now that will allow us to advance in the competition.
“I believe that our participation in the 2016 Olympic Games was a great contribution. This allowed us to play with intensity. We will put this experience to work as far as possible”,he said
At the same pre match confrence, Zimbabwe midfielder Talent Itai Mandaza added that her counterparts are not worried of any team.
“We take the matches as they come. Against Egypt, it will be a great match. Then face Cameroon on the last day. We are not afraid of any team.
