french ligue one side Montpellier has signed Mamelodi Sundowns Keegan dolly in a reported fee of about 1.7 Million euros surpassing the fee sundowns asked for after amending the buy out clause
SowetanLive reports that the transfer is almost sorted according to one of the agents involved in negotiations
Dolly’s move to the french giants has been embroiled and marred with controversy after the African champions amended the buy out clause
The former Ajax Cape Town play makers clause was said to be €750 000 but has since been changed to €1.5m.
Montpellier have reportedly tabled an offer around €1.7m to which the club have accepted according to Bruno Satin.
“It is almost sorted. I’m sure they will get him. They have lifted their fee,” Bruno Satin said as quoted by the SowetanLIVE.
“I reckon it could be done by the end of the day. They really want him.”
The sweet deal could dent any hopes of the player moving to the Major soccer league
