Bafana Bafana defender Morgan Gould is facing a possible exit from PSL side Stellenbosch FC due to lack of game time at the club.
The defender has not been playing regularly under Coach Steve
Barker in the 2019/20 season.
The 37 year old centre back has made only 11 league
appearances in Stellenbosch colours in the curent Absa Premiership campaign.
With the player contract nearing an end, the Western Cape
based club has not yet extended the player’s deal beyond its current spell
.Gould contract with Stellies will expire in June.
“Morgan Gould could be one of the players to leave
Stellenbosch at the end of the season,” said a source.
“His contract is nearing an end and the club has not yet
indicated if he will be staying further than his contract or not.”
Gould joined Stellenbosch in 2019 alongside former Orlando
Pirates defender Marc Van Heerden.
The defender was previously on the books of Jomo Cosmos, Supersport
United and Kaizer Chiefs.
