The Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has confirmed a three-year contract extension with coach Herve Renard keeping him in the job until February 2022.

FRMF president Fouzi Lekjaa told reporters on Friday in Rabat on the sidelines of the draw of the 2018 Nations African Championship (CHAN) that the decision is the governing body’s strongest show of faith in the 49-year-old coach.

“Renard’s contract was already extended since the African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2017), which took place in Gabon earlier this year and guarantees him to work under the best conditions until 2022 and with different objectives,”said Lekjaa.
