The two will represent the North African Zone in the continental showpiece slated for Rwanda from January 16th to February 7th next year.
Morocco beat Libya 4-0 on Thursday 22 to go top of the three-team mini-league on seven points followed by Tunisia with four points. Libya who lost to Tunisia 1-0 on Monday needed a win to keep a live their hopes of qualifying for the tournament but Morocco proved a toll order for them, they lie last on three points.
Tunisia hosts Morocco in their last match of the mini-league on Sunday. The joins hosts Rwanda and DR Congo who have already qualified for the finals.
The last marches of the final qualifying phase will be staged over the weekend across Africa.
