Simba coach Moses Basena is back in the Cranes fold, this time as Micho Sredojevic’s assistant, following confirmation of the appointment on Thursday.
Basena is returning to the same position having served under Bobby Williamson in the Scotsman’s in 2011. Bobby was replaced by Micho in May 2013.
The former SC Villa midfielder, Basena, replaces Kefa Kisala, who takes over as the under-20 coach. Fufa Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Edgar Watson communicated the changes at the rescheduled weekly press conference on Thursday.
Watson also confirmed Peter Onen as the new under-17 coach, replacing his erstwhile boss Mathias Lule, who is now coaching Tanzanian side Stand FC.
Frank Anyau remains Micho’s assistant at the under-23s (Uganda Kobs) while Fred Kajoba retains the goalkeeping coach role at the Cranes.
