Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane has named their squad for the Egypt Cup final against Tala’a El-Gaish.
The African champions could lift two titles in just one week as they are set to face El-Gaish in the Egypt Cup final on Saturday.
Late goals from Afsha and Hamdi Fathi secured the Reds’ a tough 2-1 victory over Ittihad of Alexandria on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, El-Gaish earned a surprise 3-1 victory over Zamalek to reach their first-ever cup final since the club was founded.
The game will be played on Saturday, December 5 at 20:00 CLT at Borg El-Arab in Alexandria.
Pitso Mosimane will hope to lead Al Ahly to their 37th Egypt Cup title, while El-Gaish will be keen on their first-ever trophy after knocking both Pyramids FC and Zamalek.
Al Ahly will enter the game without Aliou Dieng and Walid Soliman as both yet to recover from COVID-19, however, they will have Mohamed Sherif back after his recovery.
