Ugandan forward Joseph Mbolimbo Mpande lit up Myanmar National League 2 this afternoon with a hat-trick as his side City Yangon FC beat University FC 7-0 to maintain their bid of bagging the league title.
Chan Oo scored the opener in the 53rd minute of the second half to put City Yangon ahead before Mpande quickly doubled the lead with a superb drive.
Mpande teed Chan Oo up for his second in 65th minute on a cool lob into the back of the net in some style.
Mpande then slotted in two more in 72nd and 77th minute before his compatriot Chan Oo added a goal in 79th minute and put the seal on victory in the 88th minute with a late solo strike for his fourth.
Another Ugandan international Musa Lumu was also in action for City Yangon where he clocked full minutes at heart of defence.
The 7-0 win sets up the former Vipers SC skipper on top of scoring chart with 16 goals after ten matches with City Yangon keeping its place at the top of the table.
