EXCLUSIVE – Muhoroni Youth Football Club founder and Director Mr. Moses Adagala is getting ready to venture into elective politics next year.
Mr. Adagala has made it known to the public that he will be going for the post of Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Muhoroni Koru Ward currently occupied by Mr. Willis Ogonyo come 2017 general elections as per the wishes of his supporters.
His party of choice is the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) which is the dominant party in the strong opposition zone.

“I’m a servant of the people, so I will always listen to their voice like I have always done. They have told me that they want me to serve them at a higher level and I have obliged,” Adagala said.
“I have worked with them all along and I will continue to do so whether I get the seat or not. It’s not about myself but them.” He added.
The 37 years old, born and bred in Muhoroni, is largely viewed as a community champion having closely worked with the community within and around Muhoroni for the better part of his life.

Through the club (Muhoroni Youth), he has managed to positively touch many lives especially youths some of whom he employs directly and some indirectly; he also supports elderly women whom he has formed a support group for besides paying school fees for many orphans who depend on him.
He (Adagala) is known to support community projects such as building schools and churches through fundraisers “Harambees”. Adagala also runs a water treatment and bottling plant, the only one of it’s kind in the Muhoroni area which is known to suffer acute water shortages especially during dry seasons.

Muhoroni Youth FC, remains one of his famous projects, having natured it from it’s inception in 2003 till they gained Kenyan Premier League status in 2011 after winning “National Super League” – he is still closely involved with the team as the Director.

The club has since established itself in the big boys league and has never been relegated since; last year they finished sixth in the league their best ever placement. The club plays their home matches at Muhoroni Stadium, and they boasts two buses and a hostel/guesthouse where players stay.
