Sports Disputes Tribunal has ruled that both Sofapaka and Muhoroni Youth be reinstated back to the Kenyan Premier League.

The tribunal having examined evidence from both sides ruled that the two clubs met the minimum requirements for the club licensing and hence qualify to play in the topflight.

The two were relegated to National Super League by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) for failing to meet the club licensing criteria on finance, a decision they didn’t take lying low.

KPL will now have an 18-team league with the return of the two. Meanwhile KCB and Vihiga will return to the NSL.
