Twahir Muhiddin, Ken Odhiambo, and William Muluya will be part of Harambee Stars backroom staff. Haggai Azande will be the goalkeeper trainer, head coach Jacob “Ghost” Mulee revealed.
“This is an experienced bench which is also abreast with modern football. We needed some international experience,” said coach “Ghost” Mulee.
Muhiddin, currently the technical director at BetKing Premier league side Bandari FC, has previously served in the same capacity at the national level. He has worked undet German coach Antoine Hey and Mohammed Hatimy in previous regimes.
Bandari FC head coach Ken Odhiambo also returns in the national set up under the same position. He worked at Stars in 2012 under James Nandwa.
Meanwhile, William Muluya is the head coach of premier league club Kariobangi Sharks. The newly appointed team’s first assignment will be against Comoros, in a two-legged Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier to be played on November 11, at home, and November 15, 2020, away.
Local based players kick off non-residential training on Wednesday, October 28, at the MISC Kasarani. Foreign-based players are, in the meantime, expected to start checking into camp on Sunday, November 1.
