Chipolopolo Defender Christopher Munthali is back at Arthur Davies Stadium after a disappointing Outing with The national Team at the 2016 CHAN Tournament.Munthali was part of the power Dynamos team that trained this morning.
The Defensive King pin was making headlines in the last few weeks for all the wrong reasons. It was reported that Munthali had signed a 3 year Contract with Dynamos’s Cross town rivals Nkana while he still had a contract with Power that runs up to December 31st 2016.
Power Dynamos Management Came out strongly and Threatened Munthali with Sanctions. The Management at ADS was also disappointed with the way Nkana went on with the deal without communicating with the players Parent Club.
Munthali spent a 1 year long loan spell at Nkana in 2013 and was part of the team that won the 12th League title for the Wusakile based outfit.
Today Power Dynamos welcomed back to training Chris Munthali together with is fellow CHAN represantatives Patson Daka and Benson Sakala
New acquisition Conlyde Luchanga is expected to join the team later today.
Nkana are yet to release a statement concerning the development. Its clearly though that Munthali wants to stay at Arthur Davis stadium.
