Former Chemelil Sugar tactician Mike Mururi has been appointed as the Kakamega Homeboyz Head Coach ahead of the 2016 Kenyan Premier League [KPL] season kick-off.
Mururi, 2014 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) Coach of the Year Mike Mururi will head Homeboyz into the new season having signed a one year deal replaces Edward Manoah in the Head Coach’s role. Mururi was dismissed from the Millers in August 2015 and he will bring with him a lot of KPL experience having coach in the Chemelil Sugar in the league.The western based side hope to make a lasting impact in the league at second time of asking after earn promotion during a successful run in the 2015 second tier.
Former Chemelil Sugar tactician will have to waiting a bit long to know his assistant coach while the former AFC Leopards, Muhoroni Youth, Nzoia United and Bidco United coach Alfred Imonje will play Technical Director role.
