Zesco United players Daut Musekwa and Jackson Mwanza are happy to be part of the CAF eleven team for the fourth round of the champions league matched played last week.

Speaking to www.zescounitedfc.com Musekwa said its is exciting to be recognized as one of the best players in the fourth round despite missing some games after almost a month due to injury.

“I have not started full match from the time we started the champions league and starting against ASEC was a challenge but am happy that my effort was recognized and i made it to be in the best 11” he said.

Musekwa a right back has been instrumental at Zesco United and has won awards at club level from most consecutive player to most disciplined player.

Meanwhile striker and vice captain, Mwanza who has in the past weeks come under fire for what fans and soccer analysts termed as a provocative and insulting celebration to the fans after scoring at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium against Asec Mimosas said it is a honour to be in the match day 4.

He said he has continued to work hard so that he returns to his scoring ways.

The 2014 Zambia Super league top scorer said the aim of the team this year is reach the finals of the Champions league which he says is possible.

Zesco returns to CAF action next Friday when they travel to Egypt to play Al Ahly in the fifth round of the Champions league group stage.
