Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) head coach Mike Mutebi is aware of the danger posed by FUS Rabat ahead of the two sides’ clash at Phillip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo later today.
The Kasasiro boys will be taking the Morrocan side in the 5th group game, seeking for maximum points to keep them in the race for a quarter-finals slot at this year’s CAF Confederations Cup
Ahead of the clash in Lugogo, Mutebi has admitted that it won’t be easy task aganist the continental giants.
“It is a crucial game for us and every other team in the group. We are ready for the game and we are going for nothing but three points in this encounter,”Mutebi told the club portal.
“Of course it will not be a walk in the park for us. They(FUS Rabat) are a good team, they have the experience on the Continent, so you cannot underrate them. But like we have played all season, we shall go out to dominate proceedings and most importantly get the three point,”he added.
KCCA FC are coming into this match from a 3-0 loss inflicted by Rivers United of Nigeria with Mutebi insisting that they have rectified errors that made them lose crucial points.
“We lost in Nigeria because of clumsy defending and avoidable mistakes committed but I’m contented we have tried to rectify them over the last days,”he concluded.
The Kasasiro boys are fouth on the table in group A after 4 games,KCCA FC has six points same as all its opponents; FUS Rabat, Club Africain and Rivers United.
