Former Kakamega Homeboyz midfielder Sunday Mutuku was on the mark for his team,Sidama Coffee as they registered a 3-1 win over Ethiopia Coffee in a league match played on Thursday 30th March at a full 50,000 seater Hawassa International Stadium.
The hosts, Sidama Coffee took the lead in the second minute through Tertaye Demeke before Abubeker Nessero equalized for the visiting team in the 43rd minute to see the teams go for the half time breath tied at a one-all draw.
When the second half resumed, Sidama regained the lead again, in the 48th minute, through Lucky Sani with Sunday Mutuko scoring the third goal in the 66th minute.
The other Kenyan striker Eric Muranda was substituted in the 76th minute by Lucky Sani having created open chances but failed to utilize them.
The win means Sidama Coffee moved top the league standings with 36 points while St.George and Dedebit on second and third position on 35 points.
Adama Kenema, are fourth with 34 points and Ethiopia Coffee are in the fifth position with 32 points.Sidama will next face St.George on the week 21 fixtures.
