Simba’s slim hopes of staging a comeback for the Vodacom League title chase will face a realitu check today when they confront visiting Mwadui FC from Shinyanga in a match set for this evening at the National Stadium in Dar
If Simba fails to win then Yanga will be crowned champions meaning Yanga’s match against Mbeya city on tuesday will be a formality match.
With Azam already out of contention,Simba needs to beat Mwadui and pray that Yanga falter in their subsequent matches.Simba has 58 points after 26 matches and can reach 70 points if it wins all its remaining matches.Yanga has 68 points after 27 matches and just need to beat Mbeya City or win any of the remaining matches to be crowned champions.
Simba enter the match after failing to win any of their last three matches losing to Coastal Union in the federations cup ,losing to Toto Africans in Dar before a goalless draw with Azam.

Other matches lined up for today will see Kagera Sugar takes on Azam at the Kambarage stadium in Shinyanga while Majimaji play hosts to Tanzania Prisons at the majimaji stadium in Songea.
Yanga will travel to Mbeya City to lock horns with Mbeya City at the sokoine stadium on tuesday with victory handing the jangwani boys the title.
