Ugandan Cranes captain Andrew Mwesigwa is buoyant ahead of clash with Ghana away in the Africa Cup of nations 2015 qualifers.
The FC Ordabassy no nonsense defender speaking to Soka25east.com Mwesigwa alluded to the fact that the team was going all out for a draw inorder to come home with a point and later fight for a win at home.
In what is billed as the battle of the titans seasoned Ghana will be hoping for a win against Uganda Cranes who have narrowly missed out at the 11th hour to the dissapointment of players and the many passionate fans
“We are going to pick a draw in Ghana and that means we will fight for a draw .We are more determined this time round and we cant fear them though we respect them .We are planning to wining all our home games and picking 1 draw away and we are starting with this away fixture and so our next target.We cannot afford to lose the match against Ghana and for us it will be a do or die affair away from home “Mwesigwa told Soka25east.com
The Federeration of Uganda Football(FUFA) earlier announced that the team will camp in Niamey,Niger before facing off with Ghana in 205 Afcon qualifier in Kumasi.
Cranes last qualified for Afcon in 1978 ejected Madagascar and Mauritania to qualify for the group stage.Cranes are pooled together with Togo, Guinea and Ghana.
