FRIDAY 25 MAY 2018
Power Dynamos Vs Green Eagles
Arthur Davies Stadium
Live on SuperSport
15:00hrs
Both of these teams drew their last games and will hope to get back to winning ways. Power Dynamos have a good run at home and Green Eagles need to improve their away form.
I think Kelvin kaindu has settled in very well at Arthur Davies and now he needs to show the consistency that lacked with Dan Kabwe last season. The team is in the top four and that will be the target , for the EXCO and fans at the end of this season. He is on course only if he wins games like this one. It won’t be easy as Aggrey chiyangi’s team is very stable and don’t succumb to defeats easily. Power Dynamos needs to be good to pick maximum points from such encounters and I think they will manage.
My prediction : Power Dynamos 2-1 Green Eagles

SATURDAY 26 MAY 2018
Nkana Vs Kitwe United
Nkana Stadium
15:00hrs
Live on SuperSport
This will be one of the games to watch this weekend and just to start with, I would appeal to fans to watch the game in peace and avoid hooliganism. It’s one of the derbies that brings huge crowds and I know for a fact that this one will be packed.
The two teams last met in 2004 in the super league and Kitwe United did a double against Nkana, Winning 2-0 at Nkana and 1-0 at home. Nkana beat Kitwe United 2-0 in 2003 away but lost at home 3-1
Kitwe United hence has a better head to head in the years from 2002 to 2004 when Nkana was relegated from the super league. In 2002 Kitwe United won one (1-2) and drew the other 1-1.
So then, United knows how to beat Nkana at Nkana stadium and they play their town mates at the time Nkana is struggling with home form which is a known fact. They are just coming from their fourth loss at home in their mid week game against Zanaco and they will fight to change that misfortune that has beffallen them . Yes they can do it but am not too sure if a victory is written in this one hence ending with a draw.
My Prediction : Nkana 1-1 kitwe United

Lumwana Radiants Vs Green Buffaloes
Lumwana Stadium
15:00hrs
This encounter in the last two seasons favours the team at home. Lumwana Radiants have won all their home games against Green Buffaloes while Green Buffaloes have won their home games when they have hosted Lumwana Radiants.
GBFC comes into this game as league leaders and they know a loss coupled by a win for ZESCO United at home to Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy sees them hand over the leadership to ZESCO United.
Lumwana Radiants will get into relegation zone should they lose this one and National Assembly win their game. It’s that crucial and I expect Lumwana to win this one. But Bilton Musonda is proving hard to beat and won’t give up top slot that easily.
My Prediction : Lumwana Radiants 1-0 Green Buffaloes

National Assembly Vs Nakambala Leopards
Woodlands Stadium
15:00hrs
National Assembly starts from the relegation zone for the first time this season and their recent form tells you the reason why they are in the red zone. They have just won one game in the last six games. They have 7 points in the last six games while Nakambala Leopards is worse off with 4 points.
Nakambala has to correct their away form after losing all the games they have played on the road. Worse off they broke their resilience at home after losing to Buildcon and relegation fears are now as close to them as they never expected . They could actually end up in the red zone this weekend should they lose and other results go against them.
They are playing Assembly that needs a lot of work to do as well hence I expect a cautious game and a draw is eminent in this one.
My Prediction : National Assembly 1-1 Nakambala Leopards

Napsa Stars Vs New Monze Swallows
Sunset Stadium
15:00hrs
New Monze Swallows has not played very bad in their last two games, narrowly losing to Zanaco and ZESCO United 1-0 at home and that should not even discourage them but inspire them. You should have a feeling that an upset is close at hand.
They are away to Napsa Stars who desperately needs points to get off that red zone. They were almost winning against Power Dynamos but as in many games their hearts were broken at the death of that encounter. It’s a tough season.
There is some sense of hope developing at Napsa Stars and they have not lost in their last three games. That will be a motivation coming into this game. They will still be in relegation after a win but it will be a serious jump for the team . I don’t see where the goals for Swallows will come from hence I will go for a straight win for Napsa. Swallows has only scored once in their last six games.
My Prediction : Napsa Stars 2-0 New Monze Swallows

Zanaco Vs Kabwe Warriors
Sunset Stadium
15:00hrs
Kabwe Warriors is the form team coming into week 13 having collected 13 points from the possible 18 in the last 6 games . Those are the same statistics that Nkwazi have.
They are away to Zanaco who seem to have got it right finally and they are on three wins in a row that which should give them a lot of confidence going forward.
There is one story that won’t be ignored in this encounter and that is of Herritier Nkonko going back to the team that released him and he is on fine form for Kabwe Warriors. It remains to see if it’s a matter of not celebrating after scoring against your former team.
It will be a tight game but I expect a winner in this one and am tilting towards a home win.
My Prediction : Zanaco 2-1 Kabwe Warriors
************************
Buildcon Vs Red Arrows
Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
15:00hrs
Buildcon has the longest run in the league without defeat and hosting Red Arrows who look to be getting it right will be a test in protecting that unbeaten run for the Ndola outfit.
These teams are 12th and 13th respectively with Buildcon picking 10 points in the last six games while Red Arrows are on 6 points in the last 6 games .
I don’t think Buildcon is losing that unbeaten run in this one as Red Arrows is still not convincing enough. Am going for a home win.
My Prediction : Buildcon 2-1 Red Arrows

SUNDAY 27 MAY 2018
Forest Rangers Vs Nkwazi
Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
13:00hrs
Live on SuperSport
The joint best form team in the last 6 games is Nkwazi who have picked 13 points from the last 6 games land into Ndola for an early kick off against a team that shouldnt have an excuse of playing Barclay’s Cup this season. Actually I will be shocked if one of these two teams miss out of the top six come week 19. The two have shown very steady progress and their current positions are not accidental.
Forest at home and Chris Kaunda is bringing serious competition in this encounter but Perry Mutapa who is proving a genius in his coaching I think will be equal to the task. A win for Forest and depending with other results could actually send the team into fourth and am very confident that Rangers is getting the three points in this one. They are a very stable and hard team to beat this season.
My Prediction : Forest Rangers 1-0 Nkwazi

Zesco United Vs Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy
Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
15:00hrs
Live on SuperSport
I have a feeling ZESCO United is ending this weekend on top as I think Green Buffaloes is losing in North Western Province. In this encounter, Mulenga Chewe, Coach of KYSA early on in the week said he doesn’t fear ZESCO United but he respects the team. I think it’s that respect that will make ZESCO United win this one.
Yes Kysa is close to their first win of the the season but I wont fancy them getting it in this encounter . ZESCO maybe gathering momentum and that invisibility of Chicken is not yet on the cards but I don’t think they are in a position where they would lose to KYSA. A home win and if KYSA won’t keep their rear in order it could be a serious turn around for a ZESCO United .
My Prediction : ZESCO United 3-0 KYSA
