This Midweek, will give you the Away and home so far in the League and that will give me direction of predicting these games for Week Nine.
Buildcon Vs Green Buffaloes
Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
15:00hrs
Live on Supersport
This is without a doubt the game of the midweek for me, with Green Buffaloes hoping to maintain top two positions and will top the table should they beat Buildcon in this game as the league leaders will be in a delayed encounter immediately after this one.
Green Buffaloes have only lost one in the last six games and that was away to Lusaka Dynamos . Actually, that loss was their first of the season. However, they managed to win two games away and that alone will give the Biltone Musonda side big confidence.
Buildcon on the other hand have a decent run under Tenant Chembo having not lost in their last five games but those two losses at home to National Assembly dents their home form.
They have only collected four points at home.
This one looks a good challenge for the three points but should they score first then they have to be strong in the second half, which has been their weakness. I think they will grab the three points here.
My Prediction: Buildcon 2-1 Green Buffaloes

Zesco United Vs Napsa Stars
Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
17:00hrs
Live on Supersport
This is a huge game for Napsa Stars and it is a string of fixtures that Elijah Chikwanda needs to brace himself and be counted. George Lwandamina is back and already picked a valuable win against ZANACO in Lusaka. That was massive.
Zesco have a missed record this season at home and are yet to put victories in a row, they have drawn one, won two and lost one at home already and should they win this one, it will be first time they are winning back to back.
They are welcome Napsa who only have a draw on the road with three losses. The Pensioners have scored three goals on the road and allowed 7 goals already. Elijah has given his players a very good approach to this game and that is to believe. He has come out strong to push his players that this Zesco team is beatable and it will be interesting to see how he makes that one possible.
“The fixture on paper look tough but on the pitch, we can manage it and about Zesco United, they are beatable,’” Said Chikwanda.
This one will be tough and I think it will go to Zesco United but I do not think the margin will be that big.
My prediction: Zesco United 2-0 Napsa Stars.

Green Eagles Vs Nakambala Leopards
Independence Stadium
15:00hrs
Southern Province derby and always close. Straight up, Nakambala Leopards have lost all the four games they have played on the road while Green Eagles have only lost once at home and that was against Kabwe Warriors.
Eagles are the fourth best team at home so far having picked 9 points. Only Green Buffaloes, Nakambala and Power Dynamos have picked more points at home. I think Nakambala Leopards will pick the first point at home in this fixture.
My Prediction: Green Eagles 1-1 Nakambala Leopards

Nkana Vs New Monze Swallows
Nkana Stadium
15:00hrs
If Nkana were to offer New Monze Swallows a point and call of this game, they would accept. I do not think Monze Swallows will pick anything in this encounter. They have one point on the road. They have scored three and allowed 19 goals so far away from home.
They are meeting the strikers’ team that can field five strikers in one game and that alone is enough to tell you that New Monze Swallows are in for a good run in this one. However, they have showed resilient so far away pushing Buildcon to the edge in that away game in Ndola and picking a point in Chingola will be the motivation that the Nchete Boys will back on.
Nkana though have to change their home fortune, they have only picked one point at home with some invincible three points in a walk over against Forest Rangers. They are yet to win at home and I think this gives them the best opportunity. I think New Monze Swallows will work on reducing the avalanche of goals.
My Prediction: Nkana 4-0 New Monze Swallows

Lusaka Dynamos Vs Kitwe United
Sunset Stadium
15:00hrs
Two wins, one draw and one loss describes Kitwe United on the road and they are eight on the form table on away record.
They away to Lusaka Dynamos who are seventh on the form table of home games. They have won two and lost two. However, it is a team that is improving game after game and Chris Mugalu looks to have just mobilized his form together. Kitwe United maybe be visiting the elite at a wrong time when they are bubbling with confidence. Straight from beating KYSA 4-0, they will feel they can easily beat Kitwe United.
Coach Dan Kabwe is focusing in participating in the Barclays Cup and for him to do that, these are the games he has to win. I think he will do just that.
My Prediction: Lusaka Dynamos 3-1 Kitwe United.

National Assembly Vs Kabwe Warriors
Woodlands Stadium
15:00hrs
Kabwe Warriors is the second best team in the last six games having collected a total of 14 points from a possible 18 Points. Only Zesco United has collected more points in the last six games played (15). Warriors have lost one and won two on the road while National Assembly registered their first home win against Napsa Stars in week six.
Tenant has started excellent at Kabwe Warriors and he has respect for National Assembly as his quoted:
“Bwezani, you will realize that they are in the league to compete if you look at their position on the league table. They also have a very good technical bench and definitely will approach this game like we are playing Power Dynamos, Nkana or Zesco,” said Tenant Chilumba.
And yes, Assembly have a very good mentality and they have to work on their defence with Emmanuel Okutu and Herrittier Nkonko coming, Assembly may just have their second loss at home.
My prediction: National Assembly 1-2 Kabwe Warriors

Lumwana Radiants VS Zanaco
Lumwana Grounds
14:00hrs
I asked Zeddy Sailet if the relegation zone was putting under pressure already before facing ZANACO. His response was short and to the point:
“No, not really, it is too early, we know we can do better and if you look at our last game, you will realize that we have improved,” Said Sailet.
This is another tough game for Zeddy Sailet and his Lumwana players and they will think this is the best time to play ZANACO because without a doubt, ZANACO will bounce back. I do not know if the time to bounce back is in Lumwana though. Lumwana have their lost their only two games they played Zanaco at home and they will be desperate to change that statistic. They have allowed six goals and only forced one in the last two games they have played Zanaco at home.
Lumwana has only lost once at home and that was against Nkana while Zanaco have one draw and two wins on the road. This though looks set to be a draw; the first point Lumwana will record at home against Zanaco.
My Prediction: Lumwana Radiants 1-1 Zanaco

Power Dynamos Vs Nkwazi
Arthur Davies Stadium
18:00hrs
Only Nakambala Leopards have collected more points at home (12) than Power Dynamos (10). Nkwazi on the other hand have collected five points on the road. Power Dynamos only dropped two points in a draw against Kitwe United with the other three being straight victories.
I think this one is a real test for Chris Kaunda and I think he will lose for the first times as Nkwazi Coach. Kelvin Kaindu is perfect at home.
My Prediction: Power Dynamos 1-0 Nkwazi

Nchanga Rangers Vs Red Arrows
Nchanga Stadium
15:00hrs.
It is becoming very hot for Red Arrows and I agree with him he is quoted as telling the fans that he does not know what was happening with his team and he thinks they are playing very good football and the only thing they are failing to do is to get the goals for the team.
Should Red Arrows lose this one then the ZAF sponsored team would be close to the relegation zone as Nchanga Rangers would have leapfrogged the ZAF outfit.
Nchanga Rangers though have their own issues at home having only won one in the four games they have played at home so far. The have also picked one draws and the other two are losses.
I think this one will be a draw.
My Prediction: Nchanga Rangers 0-0 Red Arrows

Forest Rangers VS KYSA
Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
15:00hrs
The third game on the Copperbelt in two days pits Forest Rangers taking on struggling KYSA. The Kabwe outfit only have two draws in the last eight games with six losses and this is another difficult fixture.
Perry Mutapa is now seasoned and Chabby Chabala coming through as head coach for Kysa will have to be tactical. However, I think the level is capacity of players in the two teams is far apart.
A comfortable win for Forest Rangers.
My Prediction: Forest Rangers 3-0 KYSA
