Blackpool Vs Lusaka Tigers
(Kachofa Stadium)
15:00
Mufulira Blackpool have another opportunity to add a number on the wins which still stands at zero. These are the bottom two clubs on the log and combined the two teams have only scored 24 goals, those are the total goals scored by Red Arrows which has been very poor upfront. That tells you how difficult it will be for these teams to have goals in this encounter. Lusaka Tigers though won the first leg in Lusaka in a 2-0 score line and that is one of the fourth goals that Tigers has scored. Mufulira Blackpool is the weakest defence in the league alongside Lusaka Dynamos who have leaked in 45 goals while Lusaka Tigers have allowed 41. Lusaka Tigers will be relegated this weekend should they fail to win this encounter while Blackpool is already relegated and will be playing division one football in the zones next season.
The motivation Blackpool will be fighting for in this encounter is to win and that is not good news for Lusaka Tigers but Lusaka Tigers is not bad themselves and they have one of the most cheerful coach the super league has. I don’t expect goals in this game but if there will be goals then it will be the first win of Mufulira Blackpool but the fans should not be involved in throwing stones.
MY VERDICT: Mufulira Blackpool 1-0 Lusaka Tigers.

Red Arrows Vs Green Buffaloes
(Nkoloma Stadium)
15:00
The defence force derby and this is one of the great games to watch in the super league because neither would want to lose to the other. The head to head statistics favours Red Arrows currently and that is a measure of the last 21 games. Green Buffaloes has won 5, Red Arrows 9 and we have had 7 draws. The last game between the two this season Green Buffaloes beat Red Arrows 1-0 at Independence Stadium and Red Arrows will be avoiding a double loss from Green Buffaloes in one season. Green Buffaloes has never beaten Red Arrows twice in one season in the league but Red Arrows did a double against Green Buffaloes in 2011.
Interestingly the two teams meet when they are not under pressure, both very safe from relegation and just wanting to improve their position on the log. Red Arrows will be hoping for a victory that would take them back to sixth position above Nkwazi and Kabwe Warriors while Green Buffaloes will leapfrog ZESCO United on fourth position who will be taking on Nkana on Sunday.
I think GBFC come to this encounter more prepared than Red Arrows who have side-lined Hector Chilombo after a stream of poor results and that is pressure on the stand in Mbewe hence I think Green Buffaloes will beat Red Arrows and do a double for the first time in 21 games.
MY VERDICT: Red Arrows 1-2 Green Buffaloes

Green Eagles Vs Nchanga
(independence Stadium Choma)
15:00
I would want to watch this game because it has a lot of interesting dimension to the way the relegation zone will look after this encounter. Nchanga is a point above relegation while Green Eagles is on 34 points one better than Nchanga as well as waiting for the verdict of the abandoned game in Mufulira against Blackpool. Green Eagles even without waiting for the FAZ Disciplinary Committee verdict would want this win to guarantee them safety, it may not be enough though but it would be crucial. Nchanga Rangers are more in a desperate situation and beating Green Eagles at away would be celebrations on Chingola and that alone could be enough to go above Green Eagles with two points and throw back Eagles in the dark spots.
The last time Nchanga Rangers beat Green Eagles away was in 2012 and they won 1-0 in Choma but in the last 11 games, Green Eagles only has two wins with Nchanga Rangers gunning five wins and four being draws. Lusaka Dynamos, Mufulira Wanderers and Nakambala will all be supporting Green Eagles in this encounter because that will be a big relief to the teams fighting relegation. The season has reached a point were teams being enemies in a game and friends in the next because destiny is not in their hands but in what other teams do for them. Interesting scenario in Choma.
What do I think? Not an easy game and I think the momentum will be with Green Eagles and Nchanga Rangers will be panicking, the team doesn’t look good and the team needs to up their game. Mulume is nowhere to be seen and he remains on five goals. For Green Eagles, they have Greenwell Witika who is leading that pack with only four goals.
I think we shall have a home win in this encounter.
MY VERDICT: Green Eagles 1-0 Nchanga Rangers

Napsa Vs Mufulira Wanderers
(Sunset Stadium)
15:00
It doesn’t get bigger than this and I will be at Sunset witnessing this one. It’s a must win for Mufulira Wanderers and a game of pride for NAPSA. NAPSA look safe and they will just be hoping of picking more points to improve their position. Mufulira Wanderers will look at this fixture as one possible fixture that they can get the three points crucial for the team to stay in the super league while waiting for the ruling from FAZ on the abandoned game. They lose this one then Mighty can almost but say goodbye to the super league. After this they have a home game against ZESCO United and away game against Red Arrows.
Mufulira Wanderers did a double against NAPSA last season and that will give the team some confidence that would spur them to victory. But NAPSA are one of the best team in the super league at the moment and NAPSA is capable of beating Mufulira Wanderers in this encounter. Mufulira didn’t win a game in the month of October and they will be hoping November starts differently. It’s a final and a loss is not good enough.
When there are too many expectations games of this nature become low and flat and hence I think this could again end in a draw but if there will be a winner, NAPSA will get it.
MY VERDICT: NAPSA 1-1 Mufulira Wanderers

Forest Vs Lusaka Dynamos
(Levy Mwanawasa)
13:00hrs
Every game that Lusaka Dynamos will play till the end of the season will be like a cup final knowing they need all points to survive relegation. They beat Red Arrows at home in week 31 and that win has boosted the spirit in the Lusaka Dynamos camp. You could see too that the team panicked immediately they conceded late in the second half. that’s the disservice of the Elite boys and playing Forest Rangers away will be a more serious threat.
Forest Rangers themselves are coming from a serious beating at the hands of the league leaders and they would want to change that immediately as Lusaka Dynamos visits. Lusaka Dynamos has a very good head to head record against Forest Rangers and the loss they suffered at home in June where Forest came out victors with a 2-0 score line was just a second victory if Rangers in 11 games against Lusaka Dynamos. In those 11 games Lusaka Dynamos have won four times tow at home and two away. the other five have been draws. That will make Dynamos hoping. But Patrick Phiri has drilled his Forest team very well and the partnership of Logic, Nyaende and Ronald Chibwe is a marvel to watch in some games though if things get rough they tend to disappear.
Without a doubt Forest us a favourite to pick three points in this encounter but the fighting spirit of Lusaka Dynamos will always be a threat. Should they keep their rear gird strong I think Dynamos can get something from this game because Kennedy Musonda given a chance upfront can’t squander it while Felix Nyaenda is a serious goal poacher. this game will be interesting.
My Verdict: Forest Rangers 1-1 Lusaka Dynamos

Zesco Vs Nkana
(Levy Mwanawasa Stadium)
15:00
There is one dimension in this encounter that should be put clear first, for me this has nothing to do with the title as I don’t think ZANACO will lose this one. This one is the fight for second position and to participate in the CAF Confederation competition in the 2017 season.
Nkana are 12 points clear off ZESCO United though Nkana has three games to play while ZESCO have nine games to play. The maximum points of ZESCO should they win all the nine games will be 78 while Nkana maximum only takes the Wusakile side to 72 points. But then this Sunday’s game will change these statistics as the two teams meet up. If there is a game that ZESCO enjoys playing is Nkana and they will get into this fixture as the favourites again especially that they are hosting. But then ZESCO has looked tired in the recent games played after being knocked out from the CAF Champions League and the high number of games to be played are a worrying site to the defending Champions.
You could say ZESCO are the favourite in this encounter but I think Nkana is and this is a rea good chance to end that long losing trek of Nkana against ZESCO United.
I think Nkana will win this one.
MY VERDICT: ZESCO United 1-2 Nkana
