BM: Namakau give me a brief about you
Namakau: Nothing much about me, Am a lady from Ndola pursuing a degree in pharmacy at LAMU.
BM: We now know you from the passion you have with Zesco United! Just how did this passion start?
Namakau: I think its from the family connections . All the men I look up to in my family are staunch soccer supporters of different teams and so by the time I got to 10th grade..I started going to any game I could attend. That’s what made me who iam today that I can not miss a ZEGA match! Its not possible!!!?
BM: Don’t you feel intimidated especially that most people think football is a game of men and women should be at home?
Namakau: No No No!!! Believe me you..you wouldn’t tell the difference if you were to observe me amidst a bunch of guys watching soccer. I am just as crazy,involved and loud…if not more. Football is for everyone to enjoy !!
BM:What would be your favourite season so far as a ZESCO united fan?
Namakau: Without a doubt I think it wil be 2017. Our Executive is well organized. And our squad is exceptional. I believe we are conquering Zambia and Africa at large. So there is serious need go get this excited.
BM: Are you a registered Zesco fan?
Namakau: Of course Iam otherwise how would I be a proud Zega fane.
BM: Where do you see your team ending this coming season?
Namakau: This looks to be an interesting year and season for the team. I would want to see mg ZEGA at the top of the charts..with 4 trophies! Take note that we already bugged one, three more to go.
BM: Who is your favourite player in the Zesco team?
Namakau: Hmmmm BM, that’s not a fair question. Any ZEGA player should be a favourite of a Zega fan. Bit pushed against the wall I would say they are quite a lot but I think Jesse Were and David owino are outstanding.
BM: Tell me one team you don’t enjoy playing against and the reason?
Namakau: Forest Rangers of course and the reason is simple, We rarely beat them !!
BM: What about a team you enjoy playing?
Namakau: Nkana FC. They have only beaten us once since 2004 and that was last year
BM: Your message to your fellow Zesco Unites fans
Namakau: Zesco is known to be a peaceful club. Let’s keep it that way #WeAreUnited.?S occer is not only for the Male folk, we have seen ladies dominate so called male fields. So ladies..Get your Jerseys ..Vuvuzelas and boots, Let’s show the men. How we cheer for our team
