After Losing a match of high magnitude like a Charity shield,You mighty think a coach will blame poor Officiating or his players but Green Buffaloes’ Bilton Musonda chose to put the blame on the national team set up.
”The national team programme is to blame for our loss.Five of my players are with The National Team. They travelled on Sunday and they only came back yesterday.Look at the way they played. These are our National team players,if they play like this then where are we going as a Nation”. Musonda said
Team Captain Christopher Katongo,Defenders Adrian Chama,Buchizya Mfune,Stephen Kabamba and Defensive Midfielder Jack Chirwa are all part of Coach George Chicken Lwandamina’s 33 man ensemble. They are all Part of the Green Buffaloes usual Starting Line-up and they all started today.
Musonda also questioned the game schedule citing the fact that yesterday (Tuesday 8th March) was a Holiday and would have been more Convenient.
”Yesterday was a holiday. Why not play then.We are playing today Wednesday and we are going to travel to Choma on the weekend to play Green Eagles. He said.
