Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has expressed his desire to stay at the King Power Stadium beyond the summer despite interest from Manchester United.
Ndidi says he is keen to stay with Leicester and honor his contract.
He told ESPN, ““We are doing well and I am enjoying myself here. I still have a contract with Leicester.”
“I am learning and trying to improve myself every day and I am doing okay here so no need to go anywhere,” Ndidi said.
The Nigerian is contracted to Leicester until 2024. Ndidi’s defensive traits have given him the edge to be a key figure in Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Wilfred Ndidi has attracted interest from Manchester United and Arsenal who are both keen to sign him in the coming transfer window.
He has put in a stellar performance for the Foxes who currently lie 3rd on the table and on the verge on qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.
Football has been suspended in England owing to the Coronavirus outbreak which has shut down many sporting events across the globe.
Ndidi signed for Leicester from Belgian side Genk in 2017. He has since made 111 appearances for the Foxes, scoring six goals and six assists.
