The beaming coach said he was willing to work with everybody in the
club for the sake of promoting the ailing club that has been
struggling for the last two years since they lost their plum Mumias
Sugar sponsorship.

The Belgian was unveiled on Friday morning by the two AFC Leopards’
Interim Management Committee (IMC) members  Dan Mule  an Mathew Opwora
who spoke for the first time in unison after months of power struggle
over who should control the club.

They spoke with one voice, probably signaling the end of power
struggle that has rocked the den in recent months which gave birth to
the IMC chaired by Sports Dispute Tribunal (SDT) and Mediation Lawyer
John Ohaga.

According to  Mule, the Belgian tactician has signed a two years
contract. He will be assisted by Jan Koops who will also double up as
the Under 20 Junior teams  coach.

Koops who has been credited for the current recruitment has also been
elevated as the club’s  technical Director. Nicholas Muyoti wh was the
deputy coach has also  been retained in the technical bench .

The new tactician will be in charge  during Wednesday’smid-week
Sportpesa Premier League tie against Bandari that is  slated for
Wednesday at the Nyayo National Stadium.
