Manchester City Striker Kelechi Iheanacho has said the Super Eagles only focus as at now is the Match against Chipolopolo. The young sensation told FIFA website that the team was not thinking of the matches ahead but was solely focused on tomorrow’s encounter.

“Our focus has to be on the next games. I will also work hard for my country as an individual; and we are going to work collectively as a team.

“We have to overcome Zambia first before we can talk about Cameroon and Algeria. However, it’s not going to be easy.”

“To play in the FIFA World Cup will be a dream come true for me,” he told Fifa

The Nigeria Football federation seems not pleased with absentees Isaac success and Victor Moses. A source in the NFF told Naijafootballplus.com that the Association was not happy and will take action on the matter.

“We know the two players had good games and there was no sign of injury on the duo during or after the game,” an NFF source revealed .

“It came as a surprise to hear later that Moses was injured and that he would not be available for the game and Success finished his team’s
game before claiming injury.

“Honestly, they won’t go unpunished if our
investigation turns out as we are suspecting. In fact, we are considering writing a protest to FIFA if we find out that they connived with their respective clubs to feign injuries and stay
away from the matches.

It would be recalled that both players were named man of the match in their respective club games last week Saturday.

This development is also a worry as the commitment of the players to national duty
would be drawn out while many will see this coming some few days to the important
match against Zambia as a distraction to the players in camp and adding unnecessary pressure on the home based players called to replace the absent duo.
