Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr could reportedly leave his post after Sunday’s friendly match with Brazil, due to an alleged lack of payment from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in the past three months.
The NFF have denied reports that they are so far behind in payments for the German tactician, claiming that only his payment for September is outstanding (and that it is currently being processed).
However, BBC journalist and former lawyer Osasu Obayiuwana has posted the following to his Twitter page, revealing that the manager is furious at the NFF’s denials in regards to his unpaid wages.

Rohr has been in charge of the Super Eagles since 2016 and led the team to qualification for the 2018 World Cup, as well as a third-place finish at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt earlier this year.
The NFF has already had one major coaching departure this week, with women’s national team manager Thomas Dennerby resigning his post.
