Nigerian international midfielder Nosa Igiebor has refuted claims that he has quit international football.

The Çaykur Rizespor midfielder has taken to social media to allay the fears raised by a publication terming them as false and malicious. He further the reiterated his commitment to the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

“My attention has been drawn to a story by an online website (www.owngoalnigeria.com) that I will no longer owner national team call ups again. Let me use this opportunity to dissociate myself from this malicious report as there is no truth in it. I remain committed to the national service whenever I’m called upon. God bless Nigeria.

The 26 year old former Real Betis man was part of the late Stephen Keshi’s 2013 AFCON winning squad.
