MTN FAZ SUPER LEAGUE
NKANA 4-1 LUSAKA DYNAMOS
Good revenge for the Black Mountain outfit after that 3-0 beating by Lusaka Dynamos in Lusaka in the first half of the MTN super league. It was a dream start by Lusaka Dynamos after they led via a penalty in the 9th minute when veteran Joseph Musonda failed to keep pace with the enterprising Conclyde Luchanga and am sure Lusaka Dynamos by then started thinking it was that honeymoon again. But a cracker by Donashano Malama cancelled that lead with a very splendid goal which will remain as one of the best goals that the Nkana captain has ever scored. I have never seen him celebrate as much as he did during that match. Good works right their Malama. As the match begun to even get tougher, Hell broke loose when Jebel Sakala a young player of Lusaka dynamos was sent off the pitch after stopping the goal bound Joseph Musonda from scoring which resulted into a spot kick and was later taken and scored by Walter Bwalya. As if that was not enough, Walter, also scored a second goal for Nkana just before they head to break.
However, the good news though for Nkana is that Jimmy Ndlovu has finally opened his account after that loan move to Power Dynamos expired and haD to be asked to come back to help his team.
With this kind of development, there was joy at the Black Mountain and the only sad scene was the throwing of bottles by the Nkana fans which is always sad to watch and I wondered why they were doing such a kind of thing when they were already leading comfortably.
As a result of the sweet victory, Nkana moved to 8th position, one point below Red Arrows who drew with second placed Zanaco at Nkoloma Stadium and remains nine points adrift of leaders and defending champions Zesco United who beat Nchanga Rangers 2-1 in a game played at Nchanga stadium in Chingola town On Sunday
For Nkana, that was the ninth win of the season after 25 games with so much pressure on Aggrey Chiyangi the head coach who lost away to Zanaco in week 24. However, with a huge following of Nkana fans who were not happy with his tactics of the game. Aggrey needed this win as any other result would have unfolded into another unstoppable debate whether he was the right person for the job or not.
The last five games of Nkana are in the following order and the fans will hope for maximum points if Aggrey is to stand a chance of coaching one of the most followed team in Zambia Next season:
Rangers (Home)
Green buffaloes (away)
NAPSA (home)
Nakambala Leopards (away)
Mufulira Wanderers (home)
Nchanga rangers (home)
That will be for later but for this week Wusakila township will only remember the 4-1 mauling of Lusaka Dynamos and hope for more good results to Come especially that they have three home games in the last five matches to be played.
In other Games
In Week 25 only three teams managed away wins and that included the defending champions who beat Nchanga Rangers 2-1 in Chingola and Green Buffaloes who beat Mufulira Wanderers 1-0 in Mufulira after the Football Association of Zambia lifted the ban slapped on Mufulira Wanderers following an abandoned game against Zesco United.
The other away victor Was another Ndola outfit in Forest Rangers who were playing away against Konkola Blades in a game played in Chingola beamed live on the world of champions Supersport leaving Konkola Blades in serious relegation battle.
