Top four
Nothing changed but initiative now goes with ZANACO to lead the table should they beat NKANA in their rescheduled game. NKANA drew with Lumwana to open up top spot for grab with ZANACO who can leapfrog them by a point should they win that game.
ZESCO United with a couple of games in hand can no longer have room for error as ZANACO and NKANA look like they won’t give up easily. ZESCO remain third five points behind NKANA and three behind ZANACO.
Power Dynamos and Nkwazi occupy third and fourth in that order but GBFC can leap frog both should they just win one of their games in hand.
BOTTOM FOUR
Mufulira Blackpool remain bottom of the log and the only team without a win after the round of 13 and are billed as early relegation candidates.
Lumwana Radiants are second from bottom but that draw away at NKANA in the week 13 game will spur the North Western province team of some renewed hope. Just one win may change things at the bottom with so tight positions.
NAPSA and Green Eagles complete the relegation zone with 12 points each and and struggling to move out of that dreaded zone.
There is still an opportunity for the three teams but Mufulira Blackpool has to start picking points if they are not to be declared going to zone two division one in 2017.
