Nkana coach Aggrey Chiyangi says he is looking forward to working with his new second assistant Gift Kampamba.
Kampamba was reappointed Nkana second assistant trainer almost ten months after he was demoted to the junior team in a reshuffle under ex-trainer Beston Chambeshi.
“I think it is good for him that he is joining the main team once again,” Chiyangi said.
“The only thing he has to remember is that he has to put in a lot in order for us to do well.
“He has been brought back because of his hard work with the youth team and I think he will add value to the technical bench.”
Kampamba will be reunited with deputy coach Zeddy Saileti who was also dropped last March before being reinstated in June.
The ex-Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder returned to first team duty a week ago when the 12-time champions kicked off their 2016 pre-season training in Kitwe.
Kampamba had previously served as second assistant from 2012 to 2015 first under the late Masauso Mwale who died in a car accident in May, 2014.
It is also at Nkana were the former midfielder took up coaching after hanging up his boots to join the team he played for and where he won two league titles before heading to Sundowns in 2001.
