Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojević on Friday evening named his final 18 man squad that entered residential camp ahead of the CHAN qualification return leg battle against South Sudan at the Star time stadium on Saturday.
The Serb added three new faces from the squad that traveled to Juba last week with Vipers SC midfielder Moses Waiswa, Synergy’s Nicholas Kasozi and SC.Villa new boy Simon Sserunkuma making the cut.
However, the biggest surprise was the omission of fast winger Brian Majwega who was a second half substitute in Juba coming on for Paul Musamali.
The Cranes carried out a light training on Friday evening at the star times stadium which skipper Goefrey Sserunkuma missed after coliding with goalkeeper Thomas Ikaara in the Thursday training.
