National team head Coach George ”Chicken” Lwandamina has named a 23 man squad for Rwanda Chan tournament:This is according to a article in Today’s Zambia daily mail dated Tuesday 5th January 2016 written by Diana Mutakafimbo.

Lwandamina has dropped goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata and defender Boyd Mkandawire ahead of the 2016 Rwanda African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals kicking off next Saturday.
The dropping of Zanaco custodian Nsabata and defender Mkandawire of Napsa Stars means Lwandamina will travel to Rwanda with 23 players.
Goalkeepers Racha Kola and Lawrence Mulenga and defender Stephen Kabamba, who were summoned last week, have made the squad.
“The coach has selected 23 players and Nsabata and Mkandawire are not part of the team,” Chipolopolo insider told
the Sports Mail in Lusaka yesterday.
Zambia, who are in Group D alongside Mali, Uganda and Zimbabwe, will shift base to Johannesburg on Friday and
will face Angola in an international friendly on Sunday.
