Kenya premier league champions Tusker FC have suspended head coach George ‘Best’ Nsimbe indefinitely until the end of the season.
Nsimbe who joined the Brewers this season on a 2-year deal replacing countryman Paul Nkata who joined the dockers Bandari, failed to live up to the expectations with a string of lackluster performances which led to them relinquishing the title quest and falling to lowly second tier side Vihiga United in the GOtv cup.
The Ugandan tactician kicked off a storm when he was quoted by a section of the media saying that Tusker had “too many old players” a comment that did not go down well with some of the senior players.
Former Chemelil Sugar head coach and Tusker FC assistant coach Francis Baraza who led the Brewers in their 4:0 demolition of Muhoroni will now take charge of the 11-time KPL champions until the end of the season.
We will keep you posted as the events unfold at Tusker.
