Newly crowned coach of the month George “Best” Nsimbe has remained thankful to all those who enabled him to win the award.
The Tusker FC gaffer was voted unanimously by the Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK) after going unbeaten for that month, winning all the five games to bag the 15 points available.
Speaking in an interview with league’s official website after receiving the award Nsimbe heaped praise on his player for their effort and determination.
“It makes me proud to be a recipient of this award. The league is very competitive and it is not easy to have the kind of record that we now have,”Nsimbe told kpl.co.ke.
This was the first time for Nsimbe to be named the best coach of the month after steering the brewers to second position in the league.
Nsimbe took over Tusker coaching job from his Ugandan counterpart Paul Nkata who joined another premiership side Bandari.
