Ulinzi Stars head coach Benjamin Nyangweso says that his team will not take Libya’s Al Hilal Benghazi lightly and will be prepared for their test.
The two clubs meet in the CAF Confederations preliminary round on Friday 10th February at Cairo Military Stadium in Egypt.
Ulinzi have been in awe inspiring form of late and will be expecting to carry the same at the continental level something that has made Nyangweso ooze with confidence ahead of the game.
“We have prepared well for the game. We know it is not going to be easy but we can make it. Playing away is tricky, but we will do our best. The players are ready and we want to start off with a positive note,” Coach Nyangweso said in an interview with the club portal.
In what is expected to be a tough game basing on the calibre of their North Africans opponents, Nyangweso has indicated that his team will be out to claim a good result in Cairo to enable them finish the job with ease when both sides meet in Nairobi after seven days.
“We can’t say we are going there to play a defensive game. We will attack if we get a chance to and the biggest thing on our minds is getting that away goal,” the coach added.
The match kicks off 1700Hrs EAT while the return leg of the game that will determine who progresses into the next phase will be played on Saturday February 8,2017 at Moi International Sports Centre,Kasarani.
