After snubbing Gor Mahia arch rivals AFC Leopards, midfielder Crispin Odula is this afternoon expected to feature for the champions in a friendly match against Jericho All Stars at Camp Toyoyo.
Jericho are the current leaders of the biggest grassroots league in Africa the “SportPesa Super 8 Premier League” on 39 points.
Odula, a free agent last played for Finnish second tier league side AC Oulu in the 2015/16 season. The midfielder is not new to the “SportPesa” sponsored Kenyan top league having turned out for Coastal side Bandari FC and KCB before the professional stint in Finland.
The 26-year old was earlier this month reported to have penned 18 months deal with Ingwe but the deal never went through.
With just two days to the closure of the July mini tranfer window, K’Ogalo is racing against time to replace Ugandan midfielder Khalid Aucho who will soon leave for trials in Scotland and may not be available for the second leg of the league.
The Ze Maria’s men kick start the last lap of their title defense with an away fixture versus Thika United on Sunday.
