Lyon have signed Burkina Faso International striker Bertrand Traore from Chelsea.
The 21-year-old had been heavily tipped for a switch from Stamford Bridge and completed his move after passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
Traore, who has signed for £17.5million, scored a combined 31 goals for Vitesse and Ajax in the last three years on loan from Chelsea.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas revealed last week that the club about the desire to pen a deal Traore but faced competition from other clubs but now it has happened.
The Burkino Faso star joined Chelsea’s youth team in 2013 before breaking into the senior side a year later.
He started just four games since joining Chelsea and the move made in order to get regular first team football.
Traore was on the scoresheet for The Stallions earlier this month in their 3-1 win over Angola in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers opener.
