Chintu Kampamba has been appointed as head coach of Kabwe Warriors Football Club on a one year performance contract. The club confirmed on their official website Kabwewarriorsfc.com.

Kampamba takes over the full time job from Egyptian Mohamed Fathi who left the Kabwe based club by mutual consent.

Kabwe Warriors have over the past few weeks Interviewed interested candidates for the position of Head Coach.

Chintu Kampamba was among the interviewed candidates and has been given the task of drilling Kabwe Warriors next season after impressing in his spell as interim coach.

Warriors finished 6th on the log of the just ended FAZ Super League season on 50 points following their 3-2 victory over Nchanga Dangers. Chintu willl have the task of improving the kabwe based clubs fortunes and possibly fight for the league.
