As was first reported here a week ago, Kenyan Premier League heavyweights Gor Mahia have landed another sponsorship deal with ‘Crown Lager”

The deal worth Kshs 50 million for three years was inked on Thursday morning – making “Crown Lager ” the official beer brand of the 15-times league winners.

The official unveling takes place tomorrow Friday 17 at a hotel in Nairobi.

“We have today signed a 3year MoU to sponsor Gor Mahia Football Club. The deal that will last for 3 years will give both parties a range of benefits that should see the clubs fans and consumers of Crown Lager well entertained.” A statement from Crown Beverages a subsidiary of South Africa’s SABMILLER read.

The windfall makes K’Ogalo who also have “SportPesa” as the major sponsor to the tune of Kshs 60 million for the next five years, one of the most financially stable club in KPL.
