South Africa’s side Baroka FC have officially parted ways with Ugandan duo Geofrey Massa and Khalid Aucho.
This comes few weeks after Baroka CEO Morgan Mammila denied report that was ealier released by the club spokersperson Jimmy Ngobeni stating that they had parted ways with the duo.
It is now clear their matter is now sealed after both players failed to report back three weeks after Uganda Cranes exited the 2017 African Cup of Nations tournament.
Club owner Khurishi Mphahlele has now officially confirmed that they have released the pair in an interview with a section of South African press.
“We have parted ways with those two players and it was a mutual separation. They now have their clearances and are free,” Mphahlele told kickoff.com
The Cranes duo made a combined seven appearances for the Absa Premiership strugglers in a league that has been criticized by many foreigners as one that favors the natives and gives outsiders little playing time.
