NKANA have moved in swiftly to replace goalkeeper Scott Ngokene by signing Nakambala shot stopper Mosses Mapulanga on a season long loan deal.
The Congolese was declared excess luggage to Zeddy Saileti’s squad after a poor show last season costing the 12 –time Champions when it mattered the most.
Ngokene has since joined Ndola outfit Buildcon FC.
Mapulanga comes to Nkana at the back of a generally good show for Nakambala although his heroics between the sticks were not good enough to save sugar boys from the chop.
At Nkana Mapulanga will face competition for the first choice position with 24 – year – old lanky keeper Frederick Mwansa and Kelvin Malunga.
Club secretary Ken Mwansa confirmed the recruitment of Mapulanga in an exclusive interview in Kitwe on Friday morning.
