German topflight side TSG Hoffeinham have signed stalwart defender Kassim Nuhu. Soka25east.com can confirm.
Kassim, 23 joined from Swiss side Young Boys and inked a five year deal on Wednesday for a fee of €8 million.

The TSG Hoffeinham will additionally pay €2 million depending on the number of appearances Nuhu Kassim makes in debut season.

The Ghanaian guardsman completed the deal with the Bundesliga side after passing his medicals in Germany on Tuesday afternoon.

He played a vital role last season to helping the Berne-based outfit lift the Swiss premier league for the first time in 32 years.

The former Medeama SC man was being chased by many top European clubs including Southampton, Olympique Lyon and Newcastle United following his impressive performance for Young Boys last term.

Kassim will join plethora of Ghanaian players who will play in this year’s UEFA Champions League and Europa Leagues as his new club have already qualified to play in Europe’s premier football competition.

Nuhu has two caps for Ghana. He scored on his debut for the Black Stars against Saudi Arabia in an International friendly in October last year. Also, played a part in Ghana’s pre-2018 FIFA World Cup 2-2 friendly vs Iceland in June.
